French fencing treatise by J. de Brye. The inherited local record had been polluted by a museum-heading fragment and by the later 1731 witness; Gelli and the underlying Thimm line confirm Paris, 1721, C. L. Thiboust, as the primary edition, with a second edition appearing ten years later.
