Leguina 1891 preserves this foot-and-mounted instructional work by Luis Pacheco de Narvaez from a Pamplona 1642 witness and records the author's long complaint about poverty and lack of royal support. He also reports Pacheco's claims to the fencing section of Plaza universal de todas ciencias and to the Compendio y nueva Doctrina de la gineta published under Bernardo Vargas Machuca's name.
