Leguina 1891 records this eighteenth-century manuscript as Libro de armas y Dotrina para el Resguardo de Los Afficionados de dicha ciencia, made by an aficionado signing A. C. O. He remarks that, although never printed, the book has an engraved title page by A. Sant. Croos and copper plates, and he also notes another Beaumont copy with twenty folding plates and an accompanying French description.
