Roman edition of Costantino Calarone's fencing treatise, printed in 1714. Gelli explicitly rejects Mira's distorted alternative naming and treats Calarone as the correct Messinese author. Normalized on 2026-08-08 as the canonical Costantino Calarone sword treatise. Duplicate work 610 was merged into work 3210 so that the cleaner title and author attribution are preserved together.
Castle also records the Rome 1714 Calarone witness with the Chracas imprint, portraits, and woodcuts.
Vigeant 1882 preserves the fuller author form 'C. Calarone detto l'Anghiel', the 'parte prima' designation, and the dual portrait apparatus with woodcuts in the text.
