Gelli closes the Saint-Martin record by noting the author's portrait, the arms of Archduke Charles, seventy-two engraved plates, and the relative rarity of the book, while judging its fencing content largely a mixed digest of Italian and French predecessors.
Gelli gives an 1801 Saint-Martin witness, whereas major external catalogues commonly describe the printed Vienna edition as 1804. The work is kept as a single family with the date discrepancy exposed in notes.
