Gelli lists two apparently distinct 1862 Genoese sabre treatises by Carlo Tamborrini but explicitly concludes that they are almost certainly the same work. The local record is therefore normalized as one title rather than duplicated.
Genova, 1862. Gelli also records a fuller title-form naming Tamborrini as retired lieutenant and fencing master at the Royal Marine College, and concludes that the two notices probably describe the same work.
