Spanish fencing treatise by Don Jose Cucala y Bruno, printed at Madrid in 1854. Earlier local import state had conflated this book with the distinct 1861 Havana treatise on bayonet fencing by the same author; the public record now separates the two works.
Also aligned with the Biblioteca do Desporto / IPDJ catalogue witness used in the later duplicate record, which confirmed the Madrid 1854 imprint and fuller physical description for the same work.
Vigeant 1882 confirms the 1854 Madrid edition with 24 plates and notes the mixture of foil, infantry sabre guards, and cavalry material.
