Italian fencing master from Trento who directed an influential fencing hall in Trieste from 1838 to 1856 and published several treatises, including Trattato di sciabola in 1842.

Contemporary and recent historical research supports the surname Bertolini and death on 23 January 1871. Reports that he exceeded one hundred years do not safely establish a birth year. The misattributed 1856 Giuliani-Bolognini work was removed in quality phase 571.
