German cleric and fencing master named in a short addendum to the Liechtenauer material in manuscript 3227a; the same material is transmitted in the 1508 Glasgow Fechtbuch.
Hans is a modernized name variant. He did not author the whole Pol Hausbuch; the anonymous glossator conventionally called Pseudo-Hans Döbringer remains a separate authority. Enriched in quality phase 571.
