César Lecat de Bazancourt

French author associated with `Les Secrets de l'Epée`, a late nineteenth-century work that treats fencing in a reflective and literary mode. He belongs to the broader nineteenth-century French culture in which martial expertise, salon writing, and historical curiosity could overlap in works addressed to both practitioners and cultivated readers.
